RWR was a simple pilot-run of an outreach designed for campus students ...especially for those that our members in IS, TAR college and SIA kenal one. we wanted to get to know new friends in a different, cozy kind of setting. and cactus cafe in palm square provided just that kind of ambience. perfect.
so we planned, rented, discussed, practised, prepared, bought, etc. and off we went dressed for the occasion!
retro is apparently not very popular - or at least not as popular as we thought. with all the 60's, 70's garb you find in boutiques and shopping stores these days, our friends and invitees still had difficulty finding something retro in their wardrobes. goes to show that fashion isn't as IN as we assume.
greeted about 33 people - approximately 10-12 are guests :)

there was a funkydelic free-flow of drinks too! karen, great job in the kitchen! cynthia and aileen handled the guests well. definitely, what would the night be without our youth who invited friends??! you know who you are - we loved hanging out with your college friends, really hope to see them around more, and getting to know them better.
all in all - yeeaaahhh baby! hats off to the campus outreach team, you guys did God proud. as ps matt fielder says, 'God's the greatest!' let's not stop sharing the Word!!!
