The night started off with Cathy leading everyone into deep worship… it was a wonderful time, as many were reminded to look to Him in every circumstance, and that His love is abundant for all.
Rev. Lee’s sermon was up next! He first introduced to us the main thing that causes death, and that would be sin, which is caused by disobedience, simply because we fail to trust God. Have a look:
He also introduced three more chronological points :
Þ The Word is related to the tree
Þ Jesus is The Word (John 1:1-2)
Þ The Word on the tree (1 Peter 2:24 ; Deut 21:22-23)
He then invited everyone to start praying, to pray for themselves, and the renewal of their relationships with God. A lot of youth responded to the altar call and went up front. It was indeed a great sight, seeing youths gather in bunches and praying for themselves and each other, and the burdens they carry in their hearts. I’m sure that many lives were recommitted to the Lord.
All in all, it was a good night, and it can be seen that a lot of the youths are set to have a close relationship with God. Amen!
